Your trading account remains with your chosen broker and any deposits or withdrawals are handled directly between you and that broker.

At no point do we take custody of your money, and we do not have the ability to withdraw funds from your account.

Omega simply operates as software that can place trades on a trading account that you control.

You remain in control of your account, your broker, your risk settings and your capital at all times.

Most MT4 and MT5 brokers are compatible with Omega.

Yes. Omega Bot can be used with most brokers that support MT4 or MT5.

You are free to choose whichever broker you prefer and there is no requirement to use a specific company in order to run Omega.

That said, we do have a partnership with Vantage and it is currently the broker we recommend to most Omega users. Through this partnership, eligible clients may gain access to additional promotions and benefits that are not normally available through a standard registration.

Many of our internal tests and client setups have been performed using Vantage, which is one of the reasons it remains our recommended option.

However, if you already have a broker that you are happy with, there is a good chance Omega will work perfectly fine there as well.

While Omega can technically be used on smaller accounts, we generally recommend starting with at least $350 if possible.

A larger balance gives the bot more room to operate during normal market fluctuations and can provide a more realistic representation of how the strategy is designed to perform.

Very small accounts can be affected more heavily by spreads, volatility and day-to-day market movements, which may not always provide the best experience.

As with any trading activity, results will vary depending on account size, risk mode, market conditions and the broker being used.

For those who are new to trading, we also recommend testing on a demo account first to become familiar with how the bot operates before risking real capital.

Most common leverage options will work with Omega.

Leverage is simply a setting provided by your broker that affects how much buying power your trading account has.

The good news is that Omega does not require a specific leverage setting to operate.

Most clients use leverage anywhere between 1:100 and 1:500 depending on their broker, account type and country of residence.

In many cases, the choice of risk mode and account balance will have a greater impact on performance than the exact leverage selected.

If you're unsure which leverage to choose, don't worry. Most standard broker account settings will work perfectly fine with Omega.

Understanding risk and what to expect.

Drawdown is the temporary decline an account experiences before recovering. Put simply, it is how far an account moves down from its previous high point during normal trading activity.

Like all trading systems, Omega's drawdown can vary depending on market conditions, volatility, broker conditions and the risk mode selected.

While we continuously monitor and improve the strategy, there will always be periods where market conditions are more challenging than others. Because of this, no drawdown figure can ever be guaranteed.

Low Risk Mode
Designed for traders who prioritise capital preservation and controlled risk. Historically, drawdown has typically ranged between approximately 1% and 2.25%.

Medium Risk Mode
A balanced approach between growth and risk management. Historically, drawdown has typically ranged between approximately 2% and 4.5%.

High Risk Mode
Designed for traders comfortable with higher levels of risk in exchange for potentially greater returns. Historically, drawdown has typically ranged between approximately 3% and 6.75%.

Yes, but we recommend keeping them separate.

Technically, yes. However, we strongly recommend that you do not manually place trades on the same account that Omega is using.

Omega is designed to manage trades according to its own strategy and risk management rules. When manual trades are added to the same account, it becomes much more difficult to accurately track performance and can sometimes interfere with the way the bot manages positions.

The best approach is to keep your automated trading and manual trading separate.

Many clients choose to run Omega on one account while using a second account for their own personal trading. This makes it easier to monitor results and keeps everything organised.

Yes, moving between accounts is simple.

Absolutely.

Many clients begin by testing Omega on a demo account before moving to a live account later on. Others may decide to change brokers or open a new trading account in the future.

If that happens, simply contact our support team and we'll help transfer your Omega licence to the new account.

Our goal is to make the process as straightforward as possible, allowing you to focus on trading rather than worrying about licence management.

You can monitor everything from your phone, but the bot needs to run on a computer or VPS.

Omega Bot needs a Windows environment to operate. This can either be your own PC/laptop or a VPS (Virtual Private Server).

If you choose to run the bot on your own computer, the computer must remain switched on and connected to the internet while the bot is running.

Many clients choose to use a VPS instead because it keeps the bot running 24 hours a day without needing their personal computer to stay online.

Once Omega is running, you can monitor your account, trades and performance directly from your smartphone or tablet using the MetaTrader mobile app.
